my calathea orbifolia is looking v sad... I thought it was a matter of overwatering but I just found this tiny white insect and what looks like their larvae on the back of the worst leaves. After some googling I think the culprits are mealybugs, any tips on how to save the plant? 🙏🏼

I’ve had this calathea orbifolia for 3 weeks only so I’m still getting to know her - after 5 days from the last watering she was all droopy today. Here’s a post-drink timelapse, what a drama queen!

I’ve had this calathea orbifolia for a week and I’m not sure how to take care of it. I read they don’t deal well with repotting unless rootbound but I think the soil it came with doesn’t drain well - it looked like it had just been watered when I got it, the soil is still pretty moist 9 days later.
