I buzzed my head after having long hair for years. Did it at home. I am never going back to having long hair. People who say shit like “this haircut doesn’t flatter your face shape” are worrying too much about what looks good vs what makes you happy, and I think it’s bullshit anyway. Going for straight up bald looks great on everyone. I will say that my head looked red and ouchy for a good week and a half after I shaved, but like, it does really help my dandruff to be bald so 🤷 I’m never going back to long hair ever again

So I buzzed mine in April 2023 after much deliberation. It was a shock at first. I was unsure if I'd made a mistake and wasn't sure how I felt about it. It took me 3-5ish days to realize I really did like it. And I kept it that way until August when I did one last buzz and then decided to grow it out. I'm still in the grow out stage now (which is a whole other thing, but my hair grows fast). I actually got a trim a month or two ago and I regret it so much because now my hair is uneven. I wish I hadn't gotten it cut during the grow out time because I think it would have made growing it out easier.
