Came across this while working with some Census data - Census tracts directly on Florida's coast overwhelmingly have a median age of 50 or higher. Florida beaches as retirement destination is no surprise, but patterns like this really pop out when you map them interactively. @kyle_e_walker posted

...don't let the present Bureau conduct the DEI Census Bureau. It cannot design a questionnaire. Census's MO is based on counting/identifying ppl in housing units, using its own geo. maps, leaning on Google Earth. It missed thousands of counts for a flawed MO based on HU. @Dismalswampbug posted
