What games you wanted to hate but reluctant ended up loving?
you got to try a game you were sure is gonna be terrible, but despite wanting to hate it, you end up loving it.
for me it was Battlefield 1.
i hated the historical inaccuracies of weapons, that everyone run around with automatic weapons that never saw any actions, everyone were supposed to have bolt-action rifles or hanguns! i thought it was injustice and disgrace to the memory of WW1, especially the 'elite' classes that turn players into sci-fi supersoldiers.
but i got to try it for free, and fell in love with everything, it's the best, most fun, most balanced and most immersive mutiplayer shooter i ever played. i even forgave the silly prototype weapons because even the game in the codexes admitted: "yeah, this weapon never existed in reality, but we wanted to add them anyway because it will be fun"
what about you?
