Anyone fighting tooth and nail with every pound?
Although I don't like classifications, when I started MJ back in June, my response to the medication was fantastic, I lost around 12kg in 2.5 months which meant I was a super responder. All that till mid August when weight loss started slowing down and then stalled for a few weeks. Since then I've been really struggling with weight loss. Eating anything carb heavy, even the smallest amount will send my weight up 1 to 2kg and my hands face immediately swells and it doesn't look like water weight as I then need to work hard to lose it for the next week or two. I recalculated my TDEE, I keep eating high protein diet, drink loads of water, exercise one form or another but my body just fights me back really hard. I don't have any preexisting medical conditions. I have done intermittent fasting and that really helps me lose or maintain and I feel going lower on calories is just not sustainable or healthy.
I didn't pig out as usual at my Xmas meal, no chocolates, and I am 1.5kg heavier after Xmas.
I know I shouldn't be really comparing myself to others, but it makes me really frustrated as I still have 35kg to go before I am at healthy weight but seeing absolutely everyone posting about way greater losses makes me really sad about my progress in 7 months.
I guess, what I need, is to hear from people who, like me, need to put a lot of effort and virtually go hungry all the time to lose weight.
