My mother found out I was gay

So recently I went on a cruise with my parents and I'm a big karaoke person so I was often at karaoke at the ship eventually I met someone who was on one of the crew events with me and they asked if I was gay I didn't really care sense I knew I'd never see them again but after I left that person ended up telling my mother that I was gay behind my back

That night she was asking me if I was and I denied it but by the next day I eventually admitted and she said she could tell sense I was 4 but I still think that it sucks that I both wasn't ready and it wasn't me who said it
