How Long Until You Have Muscle Memory?

The Tesla experience was completely new—maybe to most of us here. It wasn’t at all difficult to drive—just different. But initially, well, there’s those stops and starts backing out of the driveway or the search for the left-right signals on the wheel. And let’s not forget turning off the signal after a lane change—had to unlearn that. So, now I have a number: one month. That’s how long it took me before I could get in the car, take off and drive without thinking about any of it. Now admittedly, I’m an old man. I suppose there are healthy young people who just jump in and swim like it’s all natural. But—I say one month is the number. Your experience?
