I love being a tall woman, but…
It really feels like existing is a problem for so many other people for no reason.
If you want to date a man taller than you, then it means you’re shallow. If you date a man shorter than you, it’s because you’re desperate or don’t have other options. If you find it annoying when short women make posts in subreddits for tall people to declare their love for feeling tiny against tall men, then you’re jealous.
And don’t even get me started on the fact that most tall men are not our allies—they hate us because they don’t like feeling short or emasculated, as if it’s the worst feeling in the world. Or the fact that short men automatically assume that we wouldn’t be interested in them and say hurtful things because they’d rather reject us first.
I posted a picture on the other tall subreddit of me and my boyfriend who is shorter than me and it turned into “tall women are jealous because my wife is short” in a thread. Like dude, we really don’t care and we aren’t jealous, just stop playing the broken record because we’re tired of hearing it.
