Creches require covid cert for 2yo

First, I need.to start by saying that we are not against vaccines and such. Is this requirement mandatory in creshes here? Kid is not even 2 years old. What are your thoughts about the subject? We have our vaccines but for a 2yo seems a bit excessive. Edit: kid has all the vaccines required but covid one is not mandatory where we lived before
