AITA for getting upset over a picture?

I’m sorry if this isn’t formatted correctly, I’m new to posting on Reddit.

Last night there was a father-daughter dance that my husband (35m) took our daughters too. It was posted that it could be dads/stepdads, grandpas/ uncles/ any time of male role model… etc. My dad (62m) went with my husband and my brother (33m) also took his daughter as well. My brother’s stepdaughter was also there with her bio dad. They get a long well, which is great. His step daughter is my niece and nobody considers her “step” it’s important info for later though.

Part of the “package” was a photo. I (37f) asked for one with my husband and our girls and then another one with my husband, dad, brother, and all 4 of the granddaughters. However when they get home, the family picture also has my SIL’s ex husband in it. This was a family photo, he is not a part of our family. If this was my SIL’s family and she was okay with it, I could definitely see him being in it. However it wasn’t, it was our family photo.

My husband is mad that I’M mad. All I asked for was that family photo and now it’s ruined by a guy we barely know. I asked how he’d feel if we had family pictures with his parents and siblings and my ex husband crashed the picture. He said it’s different but it is literally the same thing. Apparently since his daughter was in the picture means he had a right to be in it.

Please tell me if I’m being over dramatic or if I have a legitimate reason for being mad.
