Gpu not found after putting on custom cooling
Re-upload after taking pictures of the card itself
Seasoned builder but new to watercooling. I have been upgrading my rig into an 011 Dynamic Titan One 2.0 ( I know so original but got it at a deal I couldn't walk away from). Got the loop done, leak testes, and filled with fewish issues. Added in a XG7 waterblock from Corsair on my Asus 4080 TUF with no issues but once it gets put into the machine it's not being seen by the pc.
Armory crate sees it and gives gpu temp and clock, unsure if these are default but the temps atleast seem to be rising and falling as the loop temp does. I go into device manager and nothing is seen, Nvidia tools don't see it, and armory crate doesn't show it as a device so I can't update bios, I also tried manually. Updated board bios same issue. I pulled the card out and tested it in my old pc that it was in before and it fails there too. I've cleared Cmos and reset Bios on the mobo multiple times trying to resolve.
I'm hoping this is not a case of a dead card but I'm starting to lose hope. I found posting about screws being too tight on the XG7 so I loosend them all to just finger snug and still no joy. I didn't have any major splash or leaks during the build, atleast over the electronic components, and I worked on a cardboard box when swapping the blower to the block.
After taking the card apart the one thing g I couldn't see with the block on was the custom bios switch. I wouldn't think so but any chance this could be the cause?
