Were you here back in 2002?

So, I was talking with a neighbor yesterday and of course the topic of what's happening in DC came up and how this heavy cloud has been hanging over the region since that first EO...anyway, I said that these last couple of weeks felt like it was back in 2002 when the region was terrorized by the DC sniper attacks...it was a sense of overwhelming stress and like there were serious weights on my shoulders...I remember saying it was like having that one thing on my to-do list to complete, but could never complete it, which just added to the stress...anyway, although she wasn't living here back then, she agreed that our current world here feels that way...does this make sense?
