Account Number In Use

I came back to Uber after a long time and noticed my number was on my backup instead of my main. I couldn’t change the number and was told to delete the other account. After submitting the deletion request for the backup, I still can’t put my number onto my main. Do i need to wait the full 30 days until I can?
