Signing passport (UK)

I recently got a new British passport I'm 18 and as silly as it may sound, I don't always get my signature on point always. I wanted know if me writing my name would also count as a signature, cause I'm afraid of making an error. I'm due to travel later in the month and can't risk making a mistake
