I snowboard and last season was only able to do about 5 miles a day max. Thursday and Saturday I rode for a combined 31 miles 😳
Sitting in the parking lot right now for day 28 of the season just astounded at how different this season is versus last. Down 65 lbs, 40 of it since August when I started compounded tirz.
Struggled with calf/leg pain last season, would take multiple breaks and 3-4 hours to do ~5 miles. Now I’m riding for 3 hours, doing triple that distance with no breaks. I am riding better than ever and getting more adventurous with doing some fun and steep drops into terrain that previously terrified me. It’s all just so much EASIER and my body recovers so much quicker now too. Also riding much faster (I broke 41 mph in powder last weekend) and it’s all just so fun. I didn’t realize how significant this weight loss would be for me in terms of making my hobbies so much more enjoyable. 🥰😊
