Tirzepatide speeding up weight loss - more than calorie deficit math?
I track my calories/macros. I've done an RMR test so I have a pretty accurate of how many calories I burn a day. I tack exercise, etc. Based on how much I eat/exercise I should lose 1.1 lbs a wk but I've been averaging 1.56 a wk for about 3 months (after I take out the first week's loss which was water weight). I know that my tracking may not be perfect but I'm shocked by this. My RMR is actually slower than average. I wish I better understood everything this medication does...is my body metabolizing fat much faster with it? If anyone has links to studies/articles explaining more, please share. Anyone else notice their weight loss is higher than their CICO math?
Confused, but grateful
