I hate it, now what?
Today I got a $30 Friday the 13th flash tattoo and I, stupidly, said an apprentice could do it. I figured "why not, they wouldn't let her tattoo if she's that bad, plus it's already drawn for her, she just has to trace". She ignored the stencil, all of her lines are shaky, and she didn't even give any care instructions. I'm so upset, it looks like a drawing from a middle schooler with a ballpoint pen. My friends keep saying it's not that bad but I know it is.
I knew it had issues from the first time I saw it, but it's been a few hours and the longer I look, the worse it gets. I called and left a message with the shop about getting one of the artists (who I know is good) to fix it because they offer free touch-ups, but have not gotten a response yet. I'm due to be out of town from Monday till after Christmas, and I really don't want to go to all of my family gatherings with this ugly thing on my wrist. Even if it gets touched up and looks better, the lines are going to be so much bolder than I planned and I'm still going to have to get it covered or removed.
I guess my question is what do I even do with this thing? Is waiting it out my only option? How do you cope with knowing you have a terrible tattoo immediately?
