So, when is Richard coming back to the party?

Older Tales games have this annoying thing, where they introduce a character, then make him leave for half the game and then comes back near the end. One of my friends is particularly keen about playing Richard again. Without giving any spoilers, could someone tell us, which chapter Richard comes back to the party?

That said, I'm really glad they stopped doing that with Berseria an onwards.
