New Player Looking To Get Into D&D

Hello!

I've never played D&D and the only knowledge I really have comes from watching a couple seasons of HarmonQuest and the various clips I've seen on TikTok. It all seems a bit daunting to be honest lol. I was wondering if anyone would be kind/patient enough to show me the ropes? My availability is pretty open for any week day after 6:30 PM Eastern and any time on weekends.
