Does anyone else feel bad for Morty?

Don’t get me wrong, the comedy still lands but at the end of the day Rick really is an awful grandpa more often than not. Rewatching the pilot episode really made it glaring to me this time around. Especially since our Rick has been changing as a person and being nicer to Morty. Seeing him be so inconsiderate of Morty in the pilot makes you realize how much the relationship has changed yet remained the same in some areas
