Shelters

Anyone have a good idea of which shelters or agencies I can go to if I am homeless. Fell onto some bad luck and any advice would be appreciated. I understand Carmichael is a good place but I'm under the impression you have to pay after a certain amount of time. Any advice is welcome thanks. My apologies if this post sours your mood
