Waluigi’s taco stand?

I got Waluigi’s taco stand from a friend for Christmas as a gag gift. I just put it in my N64 and nothing‘s working. I tried Golden eye, star fox and Mario 64. All worked except for waluigi. Are some versions not playable on original hardware?
