Emilia Pérez wasn’t that bad

I feel like the hatred this movie is getting online is totally blown out of proportion. I wouldn’t call it excellent or anything, and Wicked probably should’ve won best musical at the Golden Globes, but I found it to be quite entertaining and a well told story about transition. I also just don’t really understand the anger about its depiction of Mexico. I don’t believe every movie has to be a perfect representation of the country it takes place in, and people are allowed to make movies that take place in countries they aren’t from.
