Problem with Acorns

So I’ve been having an issue for minimum 3+ weeks now trying to refresh/reconnect/relink my Acorns account to Mint. It went from working fine to a complete mess. My current error when I try to link Acorns is “We couldn’t find an account or tax details linked to the info entered”. I’ve chatted with both Mint and Acorns support and keep getting the runaround about engineers are working on it and we’ll send you an email asap. It seems that neither party can just give me a clear, concise answer as to what’s going on.

I personally feel like this is starting to get ridiculous with how long it’s taking to resolve. Can anyone confirm if the main underlying issue is because Acorns allegedly has blocked aggregator sites now like Mint? I was under the impression the user ultimately determines that within settings but I just don’t get what’s taking so long or why this is so complicated to resolve. Anyone have an inside scoop or can relate? Thanks
