An apology to the community
I’m a casual player (time commitments) but completely hooked on the game and trying new characters. Im a single middle aged dad and play on PC.
I was chilling on the game earlier today when the girls (6&8) were otherwise occupied, but my vocal enthusiasm for the game-play drew their attention and they asked to try it. I was thrilled at an opportunity to connect with them so set up an AI game on my PC for the eldest and used the family PS4 account for the little one to join her. They had hours of fun running around pretending that Jeff (the little one’s preferred character) was Luna Snow’s pet (the eldest’s character). They would sneak up behind the AI, troll them and run off. They would role play scenarios with friendly AI. They would mostly though find a building and pretend it was their home, with Jeff being asked to toilet outside and stay in their room if they broken anything.
The apology: they were NOT playing against AI. This appears to have changed after the very first game. Looking back it’s evident that they frustrated team members but strangely seem to have won the majority of their games. In fact some team members, as confused as they obviously were, seemed to have engaged positively with them (at least in their view).
Thanks for being awesome and if you ever find yourself with two team members both named Ginger something, then I apologise profusely. I shall endeavour to keep Luna and her pet on AI for the foreseeable future.
