I've been thinking about that Vergilius is also a sinner

a) He uses full 3 (Mang) rings to defeat blood crazed don in intervalo

b) he resorts to full using his ego and Mang power to defeat wild hunt clones

a & b -> he is weakened by his link to dante

c) I really believe that he hears Dante speech, it's uncanny that sometimes he is almost instantly understands what Dante is trying to say (as seen in prologue and other times)

It's seems like no one is allowed to know that Color Fixer is on the team, since it detrimental for the sinners, as they may just give up mission completion to one of the most powerful persons of the city.

LC probably is researching how Mirror world IDs can be used and upgraded further (and golden boughs resonating with sinners), and they can't have Vergilius to solve all of the LCS problems
