Was served lawyer papers 1.5years after a accident

I was involved in a parking lot accident August of 2023. In October of 2023, i was told the other party had attained a lawyer and a bodily injury adjuster had got in contact with me for my statement. A few key notes: - I was not driving under the influence, I had just gotten off work - I was deemed at fault due to me being the one pulling out of the parking spot

My insurance company got back to me January of 2023 and told me I was at 100% fault. I assumed the cased was settled and I had switched insurance companies. Now February 2025, I was served lawyer papers for bodily harm and injury and was given 20 days to respond. How do I move forward with this? I'm so scared and this has caused me so much anxiety. Any advice and tips would be much appreciated !!!
