My doctor noticed I had cut my hair.
I just got back from my final post-op appointment with my surgeon/doctor (I was still bleeding a bit at my 6 week post-op appointment so she wanted me to come back one more time at 9 weeks). My hair started falling out due to anesthesia a few weeks ago, so I cut about 6 inches off to increase the body a little. My surgeon, who has hundreds of patients, remembered that my hair had been longer the last time I saw her.
If you’re wondering why I’m making this post, it’s to tell all of you to find the right surgeon for you. Don’t accept less than what you’re worth. Find someone who listens to you, who cares about your health, and would notice a small thing like if you cut your hair, because if they notice little external things like that, they’re gonna take care of your insides too. We deserve care and love, and we shouldn’t settle for a surgeon who doesn’t give us that care or love.
Side note: if you’re in Alabama or the surrounding states and you want a recommendation for an absolutely wonderful doctor and surgeon, PM me!
