The Strangers: Prey at Night Appreciation

So, I have to say that I very much enjoy the sequel to The Strangers with Prey at Night. I watched it for the second time tonight and I have to say, I like it as much as the original.

There's a few reasons.

• The family dynamic, especially between the brother & sister made it a higher stake game.

• It feels like a complete throwback to the 80s. Outside a few instances of cell phone usage, there's not any use of modern technology. I feel like most of the people are even dressed like the 80s.

• Speaking further of the 80s, the soundtrack is beyond fun with all the 80s tunes.

• The pool scene is awesome.

• The flaming truck scene is also pretty fantastic.

I know there's not a lot of love for the sequel, but anyone else appreciate this one?
