Anyone else think Alex Hirsch isn't who he claims to be?

When you think about it, Hirsch literally means "Deer," Which would make his name "Alex Deer," Which to me, sounds like a fake name. And with his unusual mannerisms, fondness for lumberjack clothes, clothing a deer would most often see, with the point of Camo being to NOT be seen, it kinda seems like that one evidence trope where things point to him being a Deer disguised as a man! Any other thoughts?
