What is a game you really enjoyed, but were never able to finish, for various reasons?

I'll start. I have never finished the original dead island, because at the time it was a game we wanted to play together as a group.

We played, someone left a new one wanted to join in so we started again. A couple days or weeks go by. Nobody comes back to play it but anothrt friend wanted to play so we start new again.

This happened for weeks so we never got further than a few hours into the story. By that time I gave up and changed to other games.

I think the same thing happened with far cry 2 3 or 4. Whatever the first multiplayer campaign was.
