Have you ever restarted a save?

I recently gave up on a save - Starting at level ten with Smethwick Rangers. I gave up because even though I had 3 promotions in 5 seasons I lost all the squad because of debt & had only £5k a year wage budget to buy at least 20 players. It seemed pointless at that point.

A few days later & after reinstalling FM24 and trying from skins I was ready for a new save. In the end I decide to try the exact same club again. Just done one season and the debt is still their but the is a big difference in the players - Its seems these will accept lower wages and the the ones I wanted to keep have all signed new contracts at the same rate. I'm more hopeful with this one too because FM doesn't seem to be throwing so many curve balls at me.

Is this similar with you experiences? They say FM is not scripted but some save do seem a lot more difficult with things that you can't really do a lot about.
