Found something that pulled me out of an attack

About a minute ago, I had probably the worst attack I've ever had. I hadn't had one in probably over a year before this.

I decided, during it, to try play a video of people talking at normal speed (The Basement Yard, it happened to be) to remind me that things weren't going fast. When that didn't work, instead of closing my eyes, I pulled the hood of my jumper (sweater) over my head to remove all visual queues INSTEAD of closing my eyes.

This surprisingly worked and when I took the hood off of my head, I was no longer in the attack.

Hearing those voices at a normal pace and removing all other stimulation really seemed to do it for me.
