Would you consider Maddie a blonde?

I have loved dance moms since it first air, during my teen years. My mom did not follow the show, but since both of us grew up dancing, I would show her clips of dances I liked.

A couple days ago the topic of the reunion came up and my mom asked "how is the blue eyed blonde you liked so much doing?". At first I thought of Paige but I rarely showed Paige’s dances to my mom.

I showed her a picture of Paige and she said "not her", then Brynn, then Chloe (even though she has brown eyes), same thing. Evetually I got to Maddie (the only blue eyed girl left) and she was like "yes, her!".

To me she is a brunette but to my mom she is a "dirty blonde". But now looking at her hair in earlier seasons and it kinda look dirty blonde and now I'm questioning everything.

I caught my mom up on Maddie and turns out she even saw the fall out and did not recognize Maddie because she was not blonde in the movie.
