Homemade cat food

Hi all, just found this subreddit and am hoping to get some advice!

We have 4 cats, 2 senior, one 4 years and one kitten that arrived in the snow right before Xmas.

I was advised by my vet that my senior cat Beezy would do better with a 75% chicken 25% rice homemade food, no seasonings or oils, just cooked and given to her. She hasn't been eating her food, or the other cats food, or the"emergency food" from hills. We are thinking we may need to add chicken livers/hearts for adding nutrients. Has anyone switched to homemade cat food from crunchy/wet mix? Should we switch the other cats as well?

Any tips/tricks welcome, thank you so much! Cat tax included.
