Do we know why?

Hello guys! So I wanted to ask because this was in my head for a while and never got an answer, does somebody know why was bingo at the hospital here? It seemed like she was there for a while and something might have happened to her (I know that maybe the writters leave this without an answer so kids who might be in the hospital for several reasons would feel accompanied) but idk what are your thoughts
