What fields aside from tech should I consider studying in school if I want to relocate out of Iowa to the Bay Area eventually?

I used to live in San Francisco and loved it. I would like to move back but don’t really see a path to move back unless I upskill and get a good career. What’s a good career for the Bay Area job market?
