Does anyone know what happened to the Chalet Club on Lake Lure?

I grew up going there in the summers with my mom and my brother and have the best memories of learning to waterski and riding horses. The lodge and the cottages were so charming and it was such a peaceful place with the nicest guests. I have fond memories of the family who owned it- Mr & Mrs Washburn and their kids Brad and…I wanna say Anne Elizabeth? They were older than me and I thought they were the coolest.

Anyway, I guess it closed in 2008 and I tried doing some basic Googling and trying to track down any property sales, but can’t seem to find much. Google Street View shows the property with mowed grounds and a truck in the driveway, but that’s about as far as I got…
