Zepbound effect on my sleep apnea
I was officially diagnosed with obstructive sleep apnea in January, although I know I've had it for years. I was supposed to go on a CPAP machine in March, the same time I started my Zepbound journey. I decided to hold off on the machine and see if weight loss could potentially decrease my OSA a little. And it definitely has! These are recording results from January of this year and from last night, using the SnoreLab app. I still snore but the level of snoring is drastically different.
Doctors would always say my OSA was probably due to weight gain, but I've had bad snoring since I was five and at my skinniest weight. So there's gotta be something else in this drug that's aiding in the decrease of snoring, aside from losing weight.
I had gone into this journey thinking I'd come off the drug once I hit goal weight, but seeing these results has me rethinking that. This is more than just a weight loss drug.
