Pit girl wasn’t hunted because of the card game

I don’t think Pit Girl was hunted because of the card game. I think she did something that made her an enemy/outcast to the girls. After that, they built the pit and maybe other traps to try to kill her. It wouldn’t make sense for them to build the pit if it were just a normal card pull because, if that were the case, everyone playing the game would know where the pit is so why even bother building it?

This would make sense along with the theory that Mari, who is one of the most suspected to be Pit Girl, will get close to Ben, and after the girls kill him, she’d try to get revenge, becoming an outcast of the group. Maybe this is a reach since Ben is sitting with the girls in one of the stills, but Javi and Jackie sat with them too.
