New Wholesaler in CA

I've been wanting to get into wholesaling for quite some time and I don't have funds to pay for courses so I was wondering what knowledge you all may instill in me.

I'm curious on how to get the value of the home (what I can get it for from the owner), how much the repair costs would be, and how much the after repair value of the home would be.

I am also confused on the contracts. How do I fill out these contracts and what contracts would I need to have the property be assigned to me by the seller, and how I would transfer that contract to the buyer/investor. If anyone has an example of that contract for California, that would be greatly appreciated.
