Black wording after paste?

So to give more context, I write out my stories in the Notes app. After I get done, I copy the stuff, and then paste it into the chapter of the story I'm writing. I'm just wondering if anyone else is having the issue and/or if I can change it. I'm kinda tired of pasting the wording on the page, then having to save it, exit out of the chapter and go back into the chapter to continue writing
