Skill Speculation

There are a lot of skills we’ve see used only once so far or that haven’t been used at all yet, and I’m curious if other readers have a better idea or any good theories about how certain skills work or if there are other skills people have been speculating on as well.

Some of the ambiguous ones that come to mind for me are:

  1. Lyonette’s [Endowment of the Thief]
    • I know we saw Lyonette receive one of the Faerie Flowers stolen by Otreslia from this, but I still have no idea how this skill really works. Does she get a “tax” on anything stolen in the city she’s in, or does it only apply to thieves that are acting on her behalf like the Gentlemen were? Do we think she’s continued to get stuff from this skill “off-screen” or has it really only activated the one time so far?
  2. Lyonnette's [Bound Spell: Summon the Throne]
    • I think Lyonette almost used this one when confronting Rhisveri and Visophecin along with the phoenix bolt she was packing, but we didn't get much actual info on it. I'm guessing this summons a lesser copy of the Throne of Calanfer with whatever enchantments and abilities that entails, but wondering what people think that would actually do, especially given she thought she could threaten people / immortals way above her level with it.
  3. Lyonette's [The Treasury of House Marquin]
    • Does this just give her access to a protected place to store her gold and other valuables, or does this access a place similar to Erin's [Garden of Sanctuary] that may already have all kinds of valuables and artifacts within it? I had thought it was going to be the latter, but if that's the case I'm a bit surprised that Lyonette hasn't pulled out any special defensive artifacts for use by herself or her daughters.
  4. Olesm's [Army: Charred Spellcasting]
    • My best guess is that this skills makes the spellcaster's in his army better able to maintain casting during combat and/or when they're being damaged, but the name seems very ambiguous if that is the case.
  5. Pisces' [Constant Foe (Undead)]
    • It seems like this should make Pisces do more damage against undead, but the wording on this one seems weird. Not sure why that wouldn't be a "bane" type skill instead if it was just about damaging undead, so maybe this does something else instead or as well?
  6. Authority Skills
    • Erin has [Lesser Authority: Buildings] and Pisces has [Authority of Death (Lesser)], and I think we got some hints when Erin had a greater awareness of the buildings around herself in the Fraeling village, but I'm still unclear on what this actually does.
  7. Trey's [Chaos Theory (Low Risk)]
  8. Selys' [Golden Investment]
  9. Normen's [Forged by Deed]

Edit: Would also be interested to hear any other examples people have been speculating on!
