dormancy or dying?

this is my first vft, bought a few weeks ago (second pic is what it looked like when i bought it) i repotted it because i thought the first pot was too small for how many traps it had but now some died/turned black. im confused if i did something wrong and it's dying or if it's entering dormancy?
