Insults after declining sales pitch

This has been happening more and more. I politely decline whatever they are trying to sell me then I get hit with insults? From being called a lady boy, stupid farang, and last night someone said “you white shit”.. like seriously? This has only happened in the south in samui and Phuket mostly. I don’t get it.
