Bhairava Naama Mantra ( Fear and Anxiety)
Like many others, I was deeply inspired by Sir Rajarshi Nandi and his teachings. I began chanting the Nama Mantra and initially felt calm and positive. However, after just two days, I found myself irresistibly drawn toward Tantra, Mahavidyas, and their mantras. I started spending excessive time listening to podcasts about the Mahavidyas and people's experiences with them.
This fixation disrupted my daily routine and work. Eventually, I started feeling an overwhelming sense of fear—especially at night—worrying about whether some divine beings, messengers, or followers were watching me. Living alone in my hometown while working from home, far from my family, intensified this fear and anxiety.
I finally prayed to Baba and told him I needed to pause this journey for now. Once I did, the fear and anxiety subsided.
I’ve been trying to understand why I felt so drawn to exploring the Mahavidyas so deeply. When I consulted an astrologer, they explained that my chart shows a strong influence of the Moon, Rahu, and Ketu, which heightens my intuition but also causes fear and hesitation.
My true intention for getting on this path is to deepen my connection with Sanatan Dharma, become more disciplined, and do good in life. However, hearing about the intense and mystical experiences in Tantra through podcasts frightened me and made me pause my exploration. What do you suggest guys. I came to this marg to get rid of fear and anxiety.
