Questions about National Merit Finalist Scholarship Package

I got a 1510 on my PSAT (guaranteed Semifinalist) and I have a high likelihood of becoming a National Merit Finalist.

From my research, this is the scholarship package presented to finalists at TAMU.

$144,000 Value ($100,000 Out-of-State Tuition Waiver, $40,000 Tuition Scholarship, $1,000 Study-Abroad Scholarship, $3,000 NMRA Supplement for 5th Year of Study, Exclusive Access to Events)

• Am I missing anything here?

Asking b/c lots of people attending the university have told me different things than what the sources I referenced online say.

On their own webpage, they only have the $40,000 Tuition Scholarship, but elsewhere, they mention that if you receive >$4k in merit aid per year, then you're eligible for a Tuition Waiver, which amounts to roughly ~$25k/yr.

Last 2 questions:

• How is the CS program at TAMU compared to schools like USC and GaTech?
• Would you choose this scholarship package at TAMU over a full-ride plus $20k scholarship at UT Dallas?
