The Bulwark Lethal Experience [Load Out attached]: Lethal Mode Felt Great Brothers, Bathe in the Blood of the Xeno, the Heretic, and the Alien.
This will probably get down voted, but I have tried father Dorn.
Brother Bongos here, and it took one run to clear each lethal.
For every mission the team consisted of a Bulwark, Heavy, and Sniper. Naturally, we were all brothers of Dorn. I went in blind and did not read patch notes until I cleared every lethal (brothers there is a new sword skin <screams in stoic Dorn>, and one day, knee stickers!)
Team Roster:
Overall the mode wasn't that bad, just stick together. The kill squad consisted of Bulwark/Sniper/Heavy. The Bulwark protects the heavy/sniper, and does everything in their power to permit them to go absolutely ham dealing damage. This is the optimal class setup. Once again we didn't plan too much, just have sniper go bang, heavy go boom, and bulwark support the damage dealers.
Clear Tips:
If ANYONE decides to be a heretic and overcommits to a fight, not coordinate with voice (the game has an official discord), or fight in tactically sound places - You're probably gonna get wrekt and throw the run. This is supposed to be a harder difficulty(ie require more teamwork), ruthless difficulty feels as relaxing as your chapter master's blessings when compared to lethal mode.
Chaos enemies aren't so bad as long as all three people are attacking the groups together as they flash in. You have to stagger them like that, destroy the heretics when they are grouped up, rather than when they spread out.
Bulwark Tips:
As a bulwark I'd definitely recommend focusing on defense perks in your class tree. The electric puddle is garbage tier, especially considering the 30 second proc rate(furthermore your damage dealers should be melting everything without it). Your #1 goal as a bulwark is to tank and stagger enemies....get your free armor with gun strikes brother, and be able to continually support your battle brothers. Also do not opt for a shorter banner, even a little bit of armor will mitigate health damage. Do everything to make sure the other two damage characters can maximize their damage and stay healthy. That also means tactical charged shots to stun enemy threats. Bulwarks suffer, so the damage dealers can live their best lives at the fortress monastery.
My Opinions:
I assumed only enemy density changed with the patch, as parrying/rolling felt the exact same as pre patch. I guess they got nerfed? I did not feel any difference while doing lethal missions. Personally, I use fencing weapons, and def prefer parrying right before the xeno hits me. If you don't like that feeling, a balanced weapon may be a better option since it requires parrying earlier in the animation.
Tethering was not an issue at all, and our comp used a melee brother and two long distance damage brothers. Honestly grouping up made the hordes way easier to clear, and prevents the spawn director from sending an enemy to instagib the overextended brother.
