What can we do about these spokes?
These spokes on the stairs are not secure at all. It’s like they’ve just been glued on the bottom, but they keep coming loose. We super glue it back, but every other spoke looks like it’s ready to come loose. We can even see a massive streak of dried glue running down from the previous tenant (or maybe the leasing company) before who tried to “fix it.”
I’ll admit, I have no clue how these are usually installed, but I have never seen any other staircase do this. Let alone so often. I’m worried it’ll break when our toddler is walking the stairs & she can either fall through the gap when 1 is missing, or hurt herself if she falls while holding it.
I doubt Invitation Homes will think it’s their responsibility to fix them. Almost tempted to just take a nail gun & secure it cause they come out way too easily.
