Prismatic horrible pull rates
Here to de-influence yall to get prismatic. Me and my friends hit a prismatic restock and it was only one per customer, se we got one etb each. Next day we go back and me and my boyfriend each got mini tin and I was able to get a poster collection because the limit was now two. In total, collectively we opened 4 etbs, poster collection, 2 mini tins totaling to 43 packs, totaling to $255 (which not gonna lie the average person usually can afford one etb). We pulled hot ass. 2 full art trainers NO special arts at all, one ace spec, and around like 5 normal exs. My bf did manage to get the glaceon which is amazing considering the pull rates. But the average person isn’t gonna get that lucky or buy as much as we did.
Edit: my friend who also got an etb decided to open his and he got 2 exs. So in total 5 etbs making final moves pack count 52. and my main point of this post is to say THE AVERAGE COLLECTOR (we are in college) cannot buy 52 packs, we got lucky to catch a restock. The average collector can only afford what we got- a etb and maybe a mini tin.
FINAL EDIT: I seem to be getting a lot of hate because my boyfriend was the one who managed to pull the glaceon and I’m framing it as “I had bad luck”. Let me say this MY BOYFRIEND WAS VERY LUCKY. On the other hand- I myself paid for 14 packs which is lucky to get, and realistically all someone is going to buy. The best thing I got were two full art trainers. Out of 5 etbs THAT WERE MY FRIENDS- they got exs, no full arts no sirs. This is so discouraging. ALSO I did not know that the Pokéball/masterball replaced IRs, but to someone who just heavily enjoys an art of a Pokémon card, those don’t replace the cool artwork for me. So you guys are right- maybe the pull rates aren’t so bad- but for an average collector like me who will never see this set again for a long time, I’m aloud to be disappointed.
